SALUTE TO DADS, YOU ARE FIRST CLASS SUPER HEROES!

Today, we celebrate all fathers! Whether you are a biological, spiritual, single, foster, godfather or grandfather, we bless you in the name of the Lord! Godly dads are first class super heroes! Thank you for your love, affirmation, guidance, provision, and sacrifice. We salute you men of character, prayer, honor, and strength. We proclaim God’s favor, divine health, increase, abundance and overflow in your life.

You are the strength of your home, the king of your castle; the person to run to for wisdom, advice, comfort, or simply a shoulder to cry on. Your children look into your eyes with trust and know that you have their best interest at heart. They believe you can do almost anything, and you earn their respect, one day, one smile, one hug, one gentle pat on the back, and one kind word, at a time. Dad, you are worth your weight in gold!

Godly fathers reflect the heart of God. Men who lead by example, who talk little, but their lives speak volumes; men with shoulders broad enough to shelter, protect, and provide. Men of God who, like Jesus, have chosen the path of greatness through service. We salute you!

For some dads, Father’s Day can be a sad day. Some have recently lost their own dads, others have been praying and waiting for the gift of children, others have just become single dads, others are dealing with tough challenges in the lives of their kids, and others have stumbled or failed woefully in their role as fathers. Whatever your circumstance, you are not alone. We stand with you in faith and prayer.

One word I want to leave with you today is MODEL! Godly fathers are a living model. You are the first glimpse a child has of God, His love, presence, faithfulness and trustworthiness. You may feel unqualified, under-gifted or even unworthy. Yet those are excellent qualifications for God to do His mighty work. God uses flawed people, because that’s the only kind there are. God has chosen YOU! I encourage you to say “Yes Lord” and declare, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!”

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!

PRAYER: Today, we bless all dads! We bless their homes and family. We proclaim that this is their year of manifestation and enlargement. We call it forth now in Jesus name. We pray especially for single dads, for grace, help and strength to be everything their children need. Thank you, Lord, for supplying their every need – Amen.
